Barnard Fitness Center 

Fitness Center Summer 2019 schedule

The Barnard Fitness Center is equipped with Cybex variable resistance strength machines, free weights (dumbbells, body bars, kettlebells), upright and recumbent stationary bikes, ellipticals, stairmasters, treadmills and a variety of other exercise equipment.  You must show a valid Barnard ID (students, faculty, staff, or alumnae with a Barnard Alumna Fitness Pass).

Locker Policy

Lockers are available at no charge to all Barnard students, faculty and staff, and BC Alumnae with a Barnard Alumna Fitness Pass.   Bring your own lock.

Students may use the lockers during these semester dates:

Fall:  September 3 - December 18, 2019

Spring:  January 21 - May 14, 2020

Contents left in lockers outside of these dates will be removed and discarded. Lockers are available for your personal lock for daily or overnight usage for the duration of the semester only. Lockers are first come, first served. You may provide your own lock or purchase one in 200 Barnard Annex.

Faculty, Staff and Alumnae
Barnard Faculty, Staff and Alumnae with Alumae Fitness Pass are eligible for a free locker that must be registered with the Physical Education Department. You may either come to 200 Barnard Annex or send an email ( to register for this. Bring your ID. 

Barnard Alumnae Fitness Pass

The Barnard Alumnae Fitness Pass allows alums to use the Barnard Fitness Center and to participate in Barnard's FITbear program.  This pass costs $120.00 for the academic year and is non-refundable. A Barnard Alum ID is required. Register in 200 Barnard Annex.
