CLASSES begin Monday, Sept 15.

Registration is limited and first-come, first-served. 
Payment is by credit card only.
Classes begin Sept 15 and end Dec 5.
Classes meet in Studio 2.
 
Program is open to:
·        Barnard students, faculty, staff
·        Barnard alumnae with a Sports Facilities Pass
 
One Price allows you to attend any class for the entire semester.
 
Class availability is “first-come, first-served.”
Classes are multi-leveled.  Late policy - 5 minutes.
 
Refund deadline is tba.  Non-refundable service fee $10.  Contact fitness@barnard.edu
No classes:  Oct 31-Nov 4  and  Nov 26-30.

DESCRIPTIONS:
SCULPT:  Muscle toning for the whole body using weights, bands and bars.
CARDIO SCULPT: Combination of cardio, sculpt and core intervals and circuits.
CORE:  A quick fitness 'attack' for the abs and back.
CARDIO KICK BOX:  Non-contact choreographed cardio kickboxing with abs. 
PILATES:  Pilates mat exercises for the 'core,' abs, back and hips.
YOGA:  Traditional Hatha Yoga postures, breathing and meditation
ZUMBA:  Dance fitness classes set to Latin and international music.
 
Athletic shoes required for all classes except Pilates and Yoga.

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR TRAINING.

ADULT CPR with AED
American Red Cross Lifesaving courses. Adult CPR includes breathing and heart emergencies. Contact fitness@barnard.edu for more info.
 
FIRST AID  
First Aid includes muscle, bone and soft tissue injuries. Contact fitness@barnard.edu for more info.

Personal Training

Let our trainers help you design your exercise program. Meets in the Weight Room in Barnard Hall.
Cost: 30 minutes session $35
Hours available: vary by day

Appointments must be scheduled in advance and in person in the Physical Education Office, 200 Barnard Annex. Full payment is required when the appointment is made. Cash or check only.

General Rules

  • You must be registered to participate.
  • You are not admitted more than 5 minutes late.
  • Athletic shoes required for all classes except Pilates and Yoga.
  • Bring your ID to all classes.
