FITBEAR REGISTRATION starts online 9 AM, Wed, Jan 29.

Registration is limited and first-come, first-served. 
Payment is by credit card only.
Classes begin February 3 and end April 25.
Classes meet in Studio 2.
 
Program is open to:
·        Barnard students, faculty, staff
·        CC/SEAS/JTS undergraduates
·        Barnard alumnae with a Sports Facilities Pass
 
One Price allows you to attend any class in your specific pass for the entire semester.
 
Class availability is “first-come, first-served.”
Classes are multi-leveled.  Late policy - 5 minutes.

No classes:  Mar. 14-23 and Apr. 19-20.

SCULPT PASS $60

Muscle toning for the whole body using weights & bands. Sneakers required.
Mondays              5:30 – 6:30 pm
Wednesdays         5:30 – 6:30 pm
Thursdays             4:30 – 5:30 pm

CORE PASS $40

A quick fitness 'attack' for the abs and back. Sneakers required.
Mondays              7:30 – 8:00 pm
Tuesdays              7:30 – 8:00 pm
Wednesdays         7:30 – 8:00 pm
Thursdays             6:30 – 7:00 pm

CARDIO KICK BOX PASS $60

Non-contact cardio kickboxing with abs. Sneakers required.
Mondays              8:00 – 9:00 pm
Tuesdays              8:00 – 9:00 pm
Wednesdays         6:30 – 7:30 pm
Saturdays            12:30 – 1:30 pm

PILATES PASS $60

Pilates mat exercises for the 'core,' abs, back and hips. Socks or barefeet.

Fridays                 1:30 – 2:30 pm
Sundays               6:00 – 7:00 pm

YOGA PASS $60

Traditional Hatha Yoga postures, breathing and meditation. Barefeet.

ZUMBA PASS $60

Dance fitness classes set to Latin and international music. Please wear sneakers.

Sundays            7:00 – 8:00 pm

FITbear Learning

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR TRAINING  $200.
Fridays 9:15-11am, Studio 2
Learn to teach group fitness including cardio, kickbox, step and sculpt.
Please attend FREE introductory meeting on Fri, Feb 7 to register.
Bring or wear exercise clothes.  No advance registration.

ADULT CPR with AED
American Red Cross Lifesaving courses. Adult CPR includes breathing and heart emergencies. Contact fitness@barnard.edu for more info.
 
FIRST AID  
First Aid includes muscle, bone and soft tissue injuries. Contact fitness@barnard.edu for more info.

Personal Training

Let our trainers help you design your exercise program. Meets in the Weight Room in Barnard Hall.
Cost: 30 minutes session $35
Hours available: vary by day

Appointments must be scheduled in advance and in person in the Physical Education Office, 200 Barnard Annex. Full payment is required when the appointment is made. Cash or check only.

General Rules

  • You must be registered to participate.
  • You are not admitted more than 5 minutes late.
  • Athletic shoes required for all classes except Pilates and Yoga.
  • Bring your ID to all classes.
